What Is RSS?

Many people, even those who have been online for a long time don't understand RSS.  So let's take a few minutes to get RSS explained.  The symbol for RSS is the orange box with the little white squiggles. The people over at Commoncraft have done a fantastic job of explaining RSS.

RSS can be used to keep in touch with all the blogs you read, like 411 Blogging Guide, and others. RSS is also helpful for knowing what's going on with your competitors and the rest of the world. Think of it as home delivery for the news you want to read.
